Campout to Matagorda Island WMA near Port O'Connor, Texas.  We will depart at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Feb 13 and return about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 14. 

This is a wilderness canoeing campout.  We will canoe from Port O'Connor ~12 miles to Matagorda Island and camp on the island.  We will canoe back to Port O'Connor on Sunday and then drive home. 

Scouts will need to eat breakfast before coming on Saturday.  Patrols will need to provide patrol food for Sat lunch, Sat supper, and Sunday breakfast.  The troop will make sandwiches for all patrols for Sunday lunch.  All Scouts need to bring $10 for the meals.
